Uckfield, 3rd March 2009 – Beacon Press, part of Pureprint Group, have announced the opening of a new sales office in Edinburgh city centre to work more closely with Scotland’s creative and fine art community.
Beacon Press is already producing work for many of the FTSE 250 companies, top design agencies, charities and the fine art and photography markets and believes that its innovative, high quality environmental printing will prove an attractive offering to these markets in Scotland.
"We have been working with some of the leading agencies and corporates based in Edinburgh for a number of years now and we wanted to grow our profile further. Setting up an office in the city seemed a logical next step and we intend to increase our presence in Glasgow and the North of England as well. Beacon Press is well positioned to service the vibrant design and arts markets in the region as well as the wider business community, having done this effectively for many years in the London market” said Beacon Managing Director, Richard Osborne.
In 2008 Beacon Press was voted Brochure Printer of the Year and Fine Art Printer of the Year and was also named the UK's most environmental printer in The Sunday Times Green List.
The Edinburgh office will be fronted by Mark Pryde, who has spent over 15 years working in the industry having started out as a Graphic Designer in the Channel Islands.
