Since 2002 all the printing that we have produced has been carbon neutral after we became the first CarbonNeutral printer in the World. We have reduced our carbon footprint as far as we can and invested in external carbon reduction schemes to offset the emissions that we can't do anything about.

You can also use the CarbonNeutral Publication logo on your printing.

This is how it works. We have developed a carbon calculator tool with one of the country's most knowledgable carbon management companies. Using our specific data and generic data about the paper, envelopes and distribution we will

* calculate your publication's carbon footprint,
* purchase the carbon offsets for you,
* supply you with an environmental imprint and logo if required
* provide you with a certificate detailing the amount of carbon you have offset and the scheme you have supported.

By offseting your emissions you will be supporting a carbon reduction scheme somewhere in the world. Now that's responsible. The amount of money being raised for carbon reduction projects worldwide through the purchase of carbon credits is growing fast and is currently projected to reach £4bn by 2010.

Is it expensive? Well, we will continue to provide carbon neutral printing free of charge - its what we do. Then its up to you and our Sustainable Solutions programme means it's the environment that benefits.

The cost to make a complete publication carbon neutral will range from £50 for an average size brochure to £200 for 150,000 copies of a 32page. Because the printing is already carbon neutral even the biggest campaigns can now be carbon neutral at a very modest cost so it is a great way to make a difference.
